I have a pottery studio in a bedrooom of our home, and a cat and very fluffy dog. That is a ton of dust in the air and it can really affect my eyes and nose. Especially the clay dust.

I haven’t installed the app and don’t plan to. I don’t need it, nor do I want it collecting my data.

I have a very large home, and animals are welcome. That means my four cats and their pals, as well as anyone else who drops by. I’ve had raccoons, possums, birds, snakes, iguanas, a squirrel, of course dogs, and even a deer. Yes, inside the house.

I wanted and needed a powerful air purifier for that part of the house (most animals can go no further than that one, very large, back room). Shortly after I received this I had it running in what I call my indoor cat jungle. When I returned after only about an hour, I easily noticed the much improved smell. Unfortunately, it removes good smells, like from plants, as well as bad, but I have found that those plant smells return much quicker than the bad.

I now run the thing at night and keep it off during the day. Despite that being backwards, it works really well. However, I only run it once a week unless guests are coming, replacement filters are not cheap.

This air filter is really impressive, we were considering adding a unit to our HVAC system that had similar function, but it was a LOT more money, with two HVAC systems the cost was over $3k. This unit performs a similar function at a fraction of the cost, while not cheap, it is a well made unit, it has great build quality for what it is. There's also a coupon currently which brings the cost to just under $300! We haven't used the app, and that's in no way limiting its usage as a filter, it's nice that you can set it up without the app. It makes a noticeable difference on the main level of our house with removing any odors, and fast! I was expecting days to reduce odors, but it's fast, surprisingly fast. We're very happy with this unit, it does a better job than we expected!

This Membrane Solutions Air Purifiers for Home Large Room has been a great addition to our living room. It seems to really cut down on the dust, pet dander and cooking smells in the 3 months of use. We have it set to run at full speed overnight when everyone is asleep, and auto the rest of the day. You wouldn’t want to run this on high all the time as it is fairly loud, though that’s to be expected for a unit this size. Here we are at month 3 and the filter life is showing 0% remaining, so I’ve added it to my next Subscribe Save which gets me a hefty discount. My only complaint is that this does not connect into Home Assistant at this time since it uses a proprietary app. Overall, we are very pleased and would recommend it.
